Intellexer Summarizer Website Redesigned

EffectiveSoft has recently redesigned the website of its proprietary product Intellexer Summarizer. The process of ordering Summarizer and downloading its trial has become simpler, faster and more secure.

<fulltext>EffectiveSoft has recently redesigned the website of its proprietary product Intellexer Summarizer. The process of ordering Summarizer and downloading its trial has become simpler, faster and more secure. The most significant reformation was made in the ordering procedure. Now Intellexer Summarizer can be purchased online. The platform for payment procedures is provided by a well-known web service Share-it.com. The customer can pay with any of these methods: credit card, wire transfer, PayPal, check, purchase order. It is expected that the flexibility and reliability of payment will cause a rise in product selling. Obviously, many customers prefer to try the program before paying for it. That’s why a free trial is available for download. The trial version is furnished with full functional. It can be downloaded free and used for the limit of 30 days. When the limit time is over the user is offered to either buy or uninstall the Summarizer. After the payment procedure is finished the customer is emailed a key to unlock the program and continue using it. The outward appearance of the website has also been changed. EffectiveSoft designers created an attractive and user friendly design. The changes applied to the structure: the irrelevant information was removed from the website while the most important became more visible to the user. Following the latest tendencies in web building the content manager took into account visitors’ feedback. The sections F.A.Q., About EffectiveSoft, Release History, and Screenshots were added. The new website is aimed at providing customers with a better idea what Intellexer Summarizer is about, giving clear information about its features, principle of operation, use cases and examples. If you want to know more about or download Intellexer Summarizer, please visit its website: http://summarizer.intellexer.com Contact: Siuzanna Vasilionak PR manager +375 17 2377196 sales@effectivesoft.com EffectiveSoft Ltd. 1 Kulman, Str. 220002 Minsk Belarus.</fulltext>

Moving Images Scores Storm Chaser Exclusive

NHNZ Moving Images is now the sole agent for the extraordinary footage collection of international Storm Chaser, Geoff Mackley.

<fulltext>Friday April 11th, 2008 : NHNZ Moving Images NHNZ has inked a deal to act exclusively on behalf of this talented cameraman who is renowned for his spine-tingling images from natural disaster zones. In 1995 Mackley made world news headlines when he scaled an erupting New Zealand volcano at Mt Ruapehu in pitch darkness to capture the action from the crater’s edge. Since then he has photographed around 100 natural disasters and forged an enviable reputation as one of the world’s ultimate storm chasers as featured in the NHNZ production Storm Shooter. NHNZ Moving Images manager, Caroline Cook says the deal will give NHNZ’s clients “real time access” to Mackley’s cutting edge collection. The intrepid cameraman will supply NHNZ with material directly from the field ensuring immediate access to his highly sought after material. “There’s no doubt that Geoff goes to extreme lengths to be first on the scene. By entrusting NHNZ to represent the resulting footage, he can concentrate on the serious business of capturing extreme natural events on film,” Ms Cook says. Mackley’s collection features a mix of Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) footage including some of the world’s most amazing and horrific natural events from the 2006 Boxing Day Tsunami to the eruption at Ruapehu. Filmed with a Panasonic AJ-HPX 2100B HD camera, Mackley’s collection is hot property for producers of documentaries, news reports, first on the scene accounts, educational programmes and advertising. Using the latest technical equipment, Mackley tracks disasters from his home in Auckland, New Zealand venturing to extreme environments for the ultimate accolade of first on the scene. The result is intense, riveting and at times horrifying footage.
Stock Index Online rolls out smarter searching

Image portal Stock Index Online has launched a new service to help picture researchers and photo buyers find what they want faster and with greater accuracy.

<fulltext>London, England: In a significant improvement to speed specialist search, users can automatically email libraries known to have in-depth collections of niche and specialist subjects. With almost every major image library in the world represented on Stock Index Online such an immense choice of images to review from keyword searches can become time consuming. So Stock Index Online is helping searchers save time by asking the libraries to deliver the goods. And libraries know that if they receive a request it is for the specialism, and it's worth the effort to respond. The advanced search works by drilling down through specialist subjects. Keyword search is available within the specialism. With the specialism finally honed down a dialogue panel then allows the visitor to one-click mail the specialist libraries. The new feature, unique amongst Portals, is proving to be a very popular time saver for picture researchers and photo buyers.
Eco Friendly Hi Def Footage Collection

Wave Royalty Free Anticipates Demand For Environmentally-Aware Footage

<fulltext>Thousands of people, everyday, are taking steps to improve the environment with sustainable practices, protecting the environment, making positive lifestyle choices. Advertisers are aware of this dedication, and are looking to the stock industry to supply images that reflect these values. Wave Royalty Free was developed specifically to meet this demand. Wave Royalty Free is a recent arrival to the stock photography and footage arena, developed as a subsidiary of First Light. To distinguish WAVE from other hodge-podge royalty free producers, WAVE images and footage will address Environment, Humanity and Responsibility. Wave will show nature at the best it can be, and conversely, nature when mankind has left its unsightly mark. The collection will include healthy living, portraits, positive use of resources, interacting with the environment in a non-damaging way. Wave will show positive and negative sources of energy and resources. Wave Royalty Free is also doing its best to be contributor-friendly, with a competitive royalty percentage, and offers contributors a share of the value of the company as it grows. Just as bio-diversity is essential, so is artistic diversity – meaning that the collection is not art directed and produced by one style, but rather includes material from some of the world’s best nature photographers, as well as up and coming contemporary lifestyle shooters, and award-winning adventure photographers and videographers. Wave is the brainchild of Pierre Guevremont, President of First Light Associated Photographers of Toronto. More information can be found at www.WaveRoyaltyFree.com More from: Sandra McEwing Company: Wave Royalty Free Phone number: 204-284-0179 E-mail: sandra@WaveRoyaltyFree.com www.WaveRoyaltyFree.com</fulltext>

A World of new Stills

Deep fried guinea pig is our bread and butter!

<fulltext>There’s a world of new stills available from Tropix. Leading specialists in Africa, Asia and World destinations, Tropix Photo Library have just extended their range. Latest images shot 2007-08 come from Argentina, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Bonaire, Chile, Colombia, Curacao, Ecuador, England, Galapagos, Germany, Ireland, Korea, Pakistan, Peru, Portugal, Tobago, Trinidad and Venezuela – and there are some pretty remote places and obscure topics nestling within that set. MD Veronica Birley asks, “Where would you look for a shot of Trinidad’s Hindu temples? OK, what about the notorious baby cemetery of Azerbaijan? How about Koreans playing yutnori? – using jangjang sticks, of course. www.tropix.co.uk , that’s where you’d look. Deep fried guinea pig is our bread and butter.” Tropix are an outstanding source of hard-to-find stills, especially from remote and rarely visited destinations. When the BBC’s “Story of India” series needed a shot of an ancient stone tablet last year, it required a trip to northeast Afghanistan – not a tempting shoot. Fortunately, Maya Vision’s researcher tracked down stills of said tablet, to Tropix. Their website is www.tropix.co.uk : if you haven’t registered yet, do so now. There’s a great front end to the site for the public, but media people need the nuggets that are found only after registration. Top keywording and multi-language spellings give you instant access to 15,000 thumbnails – plus a further 20,000 captions leading to more library stock. Now London based, Tropix was established 25 years ago in Liverpool – European City of Culture 2008. That makes them a good source for Liverpool landmarks too, plus Merseyside, the Wirral, Cheshire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Wales. Believe it or not, there are some pretty obscure topics in that collection, too. <fulltext>Evergreen, Colorado: Mammoth HD's new MHD/RED Library opens with footage shot on the RED Digital Cinema - RED ONE Digital Camera. The RED ONE captures images in 4K, 3K and 2K resolutions with frame rates from 1-75 frames per second depending on the resolution selected. This completely digital acquisition pipeline produces beautiful, clean images that can be used in every production from Feature and Indie films, advertising/commercials and marketing to HD broadcast and HD digital signage/display. To see just some of the possibilities of the RED 4K format, see Mammoth HD's size comparison demo: http://www.mammothhd.com/MHD_compformat2.html MHD's launch of the MHD/RED Library features the work of a very talented band of early adopters of RED - Steve Gibby, Ken Corben, Steve Tammi, Jay A. One doesn’t take on the entire raw material of “Nuit de la Glisse” just for the fun of it…”, Donard commented on his decision for the company. The stock footage provider has founded the specialist department Framepool 360 [Framepool Three Sixty] with branches in Munich and Paris for the marketing of “Nuit de la Glisse”. “We are delighted that Thierry Donard has put his trust in us. He is a living legend. What makes him so special is that he has always remained true to his philosophy of combining sports with respect for nature,” comments Jean-Charles Pentecouteau, director of Framepool 360 Paris. The footage-experts are putting their efforts into perfect service to market the high-profile content. Framepool 360 offers creative inspiration in the shape of individual motion content concepts to companies and projects that want to use Donard’s material for product presentations. Clients receive advice already in the conception phase, suitable scenes are systematically selected and compiled or entire events are edited thematically in accordance with the client’s wishes. Some feature film producers have already acquired a selection of scenes for their next production, way before the first day of shooting. Thierry Donard’s films are not only visually and aesthetically captivating, but they are also of outstanding technical quality. Donard shoots everything on Super 16, where his colleagues would normally use DV or Beta. “We are currently scanning the footage of “Nuit de la Glisse” in HD up to 2K, so we can fully satisfy the technical expectations of our clients,” says Pentecouteau. End of January Donard’s latest film “Testimony” came into the cinemas, but the director has already started working on his next film “Never Ending”. Donard would also like to see these new shots in TV- and cinema commercials and believes Framepool 360 have the perfect client base in the advertising scene. He and his team are travelling the world in pursuit of top-athletes – surfers, snowboarders, skiers, wakeboarders etc. – to accompany them with the camera. “I don’t really like the term Extreme Sports very much,” says Donard, “I don’t ask anyone to try out crazy things. We are working with professional sportsmen and women, who know exactly what they are doing. And my team and I have to rely totally on each other, because often it’s a question of life and death. That’s only possible if you’re passionate – about sports, about nature and about the best technical equipment. ” For the latest news please see www.framepool360.com .
